By the main square you can find amongst other things Gallerian Nian – the largest shopping complex in the centre with nearly 50 shops and restaurants, the shopping complex Flanör – with 20 shops, a childrens’ play area and many individual shops with everything you can possibly want! You can also choose from a number of restaurants and café´s- many of which are open air during the summer time.

Don’t miss Drottningatan and  Söder – well known for their small specialist shops – especially fashion and design shops.

Gävle Centre has an all-the-year-round market on the main square.
